Lansdale Municipal Complex, Lansdale Borough, Montgomery County, PA
Nave Newell worked closely with Spiezle Architectural Group to redevelop a 1.99 acre municipal complex. The existing Borough Police Department facility was undersized and in need of improvement. The project included renovating the existing Borough Hall and constructing a new Police/Administrative Annex with associated off-street parking. The 35,000 sf, two-story project preserved three exterior walls of borough hall and combined the administration and the police department into one facility for greater efficiency.
Nave Newell in conjunction with the architect prepared a sketch plan of the site depicting Borough Hall, Administrative Annex, revised parking, service/circulation areas as well as exterior sidewalks/plazas and other site improvements. Nave Newell also prepared the Construction Documents and permit plans necessary for Borough approvals and assisted the architect with LEED certification. Construction was completed in 2015.

Nave Newell surveyed the site, prepared plans to submit to the Township for the widening of South Lincoln Avenue at the main entrance to provide for new right and left turn lanes. Nave Newell also prepared design plans and Highway Occupancy Permit Application Submissions for PennDOT approval on the widening of State Drive (S.R. 2003) for the new access points to the Medical Center.
