Nave Newell has been working on various site improvement projects throughout the Haverford College campus since 2014. Work has included topographic mapping of the campus, site analysis/schematic design, and design development for the necessary permitting and approvals for pond dredging, a sidewalk extension, and various athletic field improvements. Other significant projects were the adaptive reuse of the Ryan Gym for a Visual Communications Arts and Music (VCAM) complex, a renovation and addition to create a re-imagined music hall, two new greenhouses to support their Arboretum, and a trail relocation.

Recently, we worked with the College Arboretum Director and Head of Facilities to enhance the existing campus center entrance to create a positive first impression for potential students and their families. The Whitehead Campus Center redesign includes landscape, hardscape, and signage/wayfinding improvements, all while ensuring an accessible entrance to the building and accessible routes from ADA parking spaces. The Campus Center redesign and Music Building both opened in 2021.

Current work includes the preparation of grading permit plans for pedestrian improvements to the campus entrance from Armat Avenue.
