Nave Newell has been working various site improvement projects throughout the Haverford College campus since 2014. After completing topographic mapping of the campus, projects have included pond dredging, a sidewalk extension, and various athletic field improvements. Other significant projects were the adaptive reuse of the Ryan Gym for a Visual Communications Arts and Music (VCAM) complex, a new greenhouse to support their Arboretum, and a trail relocation.
Most recently we worked with the College Arboretum Director and Head of Facilities to enhance the existing campus center entrance to create a positive first impression for potential students and their families. The Campus Center redesign includes landscape, hardscape, ADA, and signage/way finding improvements. We're also working with the College's architect on a re-imagined music hall. Both projects are scheduled to start construction in 2020.
