Education: MS in Environmental Resource Management from Villanova University, and BS in Environmental Resource Management from Penn State University
How does your education and background as an engineer help in your current role? I have been able to lean on my experience in design and taking projects through approvals to guide new clients in the early stages of their project. I help them understand what to expect during the process by providing an estimated scope of work and preliminary project schedules.
Favorite Nave Newell Project: I enjoyed working on the St. Joseph’s University Master Plan project. The master planning process itself is so exciting, as it opens up all of the possibilities and potential for a site.
Favorite Nave Newell Way Fundamental: Fundamental #14 – Speak Straight – with respect, and in a way that keeps the action moving forward.

Family: Dan (husband), two mastiffs, Hyde and Tilly, and a barn cat named Pebbles

What attracted you most to Nave Newell?
There was a point in time where I realized the day-to-day of civil engineering wasn’t where I wanted to go in my career. I left Nave Newell to make a transition. A few months later, there was an opportunity to come back in a business development role- I jumped at the chance to work with a great team of professionals and a company that’s really dedicated to their employees.
Who’s your mentor?
Greg Newell is a great mentor. I’m interested in residential real estate and investment and he always takes the time to share interesting information and tips with me. He’s very thoughtful – a trait I value and continuously try to embody.
What do you like most about your job?
I like being able to have an impact on the long-term growth and success of our company. A bonus is that I’m able to do this by meeting new people!
What are your goals for the next year?
I would love to bring a brewery project to Nave Newell. I can only imagine that it’s especially rewarding to have happy hour in a location you’ve helped bring to fruition!
