Is It Too Early to Plant My Garden?

Of course not! There are many veggies that love a little cold in the beginning.  Planting these now will give you a great jump start on your gardening season, plus you can begin to enjoy fresh veggies well before your summer vegetables come in.

A few plants that can be started right from seeds in your garden include:

  • Spinach
  • Chard
  • Lettuce
  • Radishes
  • Kale
  • Peas

Spinach and lettuce start sprouting at temperatures between 35 and 40 degrees!

This should help get rid of any gardeners itch to plant!
