Joe Turpin

Joe Turpin, Staff Engineer

We are excited to introduce Joe Turpin, who recently joined our team as a staff engineer. Joe was born and raised within the engineering and landscape architecture realm, and brings years of experience with an extensive portfolio of work in construction, installation, environmental craftsmanship, and stormwater management.

Joe is a recent graduate of Pennsylvania State University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a focus in Environmental Science. During that time, he ventured to Africa where he had the opportunity to help install rainwater harvesting systems for communities that did not have access to safe drinking water. Throughout his journey, Joe had the chance to directly speak with the engineers who designed the solar powered rainwater harvesting and purification systems, which led to his love for the industry.

Joe grew up in Downingtown with his parents, two brothers and two dogs. Born into the family business, Turpin Landscape Design Build, Joe was able to learn a lot throughout his field experience. In fact, prior to jumping onboard with our team, Joe constructed projects from our Nave Newell land plans, in his previous role, which provides even more of a unique perspective to our civil engineering department. However, outside of engineering, Joe has a passion for snowboarding, rock climbing, hiking, and reading!

The experience he has gained throughout his profound overseas work and his early career gives Joe a divergent view of the land development process. Not only when it comes to understanding our environment, but also how it ties into landscape designs and engineering techniques. Adding Joe to the Nave Newell team offers our clients another experienced professional to proactively navigate the process and bring our client’s vision to reality.

Please join us in welcoming Joe to Nave Newell!
