New Blog. New Office Space.

Some big things are happening at Nave Newell!  As the title says, we’re launching a blog and moving into a new office space. Yes, we are saying good-bye to 357 South Gulph Road, our home for the last 10 years.

On December 2nd, we will settle into our new office just down the street in Tredyffrin Township.  Our address will be: 900 West Valley Road, Suite 1100, Wayne, PA 19087. 

Welcome to Ground Level.  My name is Greg Newell and I’m President of Nave Newell.  With the launch of this blog, we look forward to regularly sharing news, trends and our ideas with you. We’ll discuss stormwater and land development regulations, game changers to recognize during due diligence and share lessons learned from our projects.  We hope you’ll comment and engage in a dialogue with us.  These roundtable discussions will be beneficial for all and help us continue to think like our clients.

The Journey.  The decision I made to purchase and renovate a building for our new home presented a unique opportunity for us to once again look at things from our client’s perspective.  Suddenly, I was the client in a commercial real estate transaction.

I started looking at office space in December 2012.  In late January, I identified that the best route for my situation would be purchasing and renovating versus renting.  With that decision in place and a targeted location, I thought I was ahead of the game.  The bankers, attorneys, architects and contractors in the words of comedian John Pinette, said” Nay Nay.” I quickly learned that any bump in the road could derail the process.
