Overall Position
We are seeking an experienced and talented Project Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to provide engineering support for all phases of our land development projects. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative team environment on a variety of projects in scope and size. You will perform technical engineering work, such as site design and grading, stormwater management design, and value engineering, as well as certain project management responsibilities, including project coordination and tracking.
The Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) Registration required.
• 4+ years of engineering design experience. More specifically, a thorough understanding of the land development approval process, including site design and grading, stormwater management, E&S design, and NPDES permitting.
• Familiarity with the requirements of local, State, and Federal agencies that have jurisdiction over land development entitlements.
• Ability to make assessments of engineering problems, evaluate alternatives, and make recommendations to project managers.
• Experience preparing permit applications and supporting documentation for submittals to reviewing agencies.
• Engineering skills to take a project from conceptual design through technical approvals.
• Ability to manage a variety of tasks and provide clear direction and supervisory support to staff.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil 3D.
