What You Can Do Now
There is still work to do. Because when things start to get back to normal, we’ll face a whole new set of challenges. As a result, there will be a race to design and submit projects for hearings and approvals.
Laying the groundwork for your project now, can properly position you for the weeks and months ahead. And in real estate development, we all know – time is money!
Here are some areas where we can help you move forward:
Our field crews will be busy once restrictions are lifted, so now’s a good time to get your survey scheduled. In the meantime, we can start your ALTA and Boundary Surveys. We can review title reports and research boundary surveys through online courthouse records. Depending on your need, we might be able to help. Reach out to our Survey Department Manager, Matt Kelly at email@example.com, to discuss your upcoming projects.
Land Development Consulting
Civil engineers and land planners are the access to your critical path. You probably have a lot of questions right now, like “What do I do next? What consultants do I need? How long will this take? What is my cost exposure?” Let us help you get set for the path ahead – contact Tim Brennan at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Due Diligence Assessments and Reports
Due Diligence is a critical first step of any land development project. In these unprecedented times, we can help you prepare and mitigate risks for your next project. Our land planners can use this time to analyze land use/zoning, access, utilities, environmental concerns, and other aspects of the site.
Sketch Plans and Site Yield
Every successful land development project begins with a strong plan. Our land planning department can help you find the most efficient use of your property. Many municipalities are still accepting plans to review. Therefore, you should take advantage of this time to submit and get input on your concept design and layout prior to preparation of a full plan. Our Land Planning Director, Paul Lepard, can help you get started – contact him at email@example.com.
Site Selection Support, Schedule and Cost Estimates
Whether you have an existing project and want to reassess your schedule, or you are taking this down time to review your site selection process- we can help. Clearly outlining schedule and budget can help your project stay on track. Our civil department can help with this.
Additionally, colleges, universities, country clubs, and golf courses now have time to look at their short and long range plans, take care of deferred maintenance or even plan for a project over the summer. Are there any issues on campus that are giving you a headache? From campus flooding issues, stormwater and utilities assessments, amenity landscaping plan, ADA accessibility studies, and pond dredging – we’ve got you covered.
